Senior Animator
*On-site Contract Position*
All applying animators must be capable to conveying motive and emotion on 3D characters by using motion
capture and keyframe animation. Animators will be working closely with the Art Director and Lead Animator
to maintain a coherent style and feel to ensure that the game has the absolute best animation in the
industry.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in a production environment, preferably in the game industry.
Positive, professional attitude. Disciplined and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Experience stitching and heightening motion capture in Autodesk MotionBuilder.
Experience animating realistic human and animal motion from scratch.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to accept and follow direction, collaborate productively with others, and work to meet deadlines as necessary.
Ability to think creatively and analytically.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize competing demands and follow through on the details. Must be flexible enough to deal with changing role requirements.
Passionate about games and able to articulate that passion clearly and analytically. Possesses a broad knowledge base of console shooters.
Secondary education degree or equivalent.
Plusses:
Character setup/rigging skills in Autodesk Maya and/or MotionBuilder.
Traditional art and animation background.
Unreal Engine 3 experience.
Natural Motion Morpheme experience.
Sample Work Required (Website strongly preferred):
Any supplemental materials demonstrating skills relevant to this position are also encouraged
(e.g., animation example movies, sample scenes, etc).
